Worker e) Water Service Worker V ORAL COMMUNICATIONS V I `� ADJOURNMENT >>,. . � r • ' • � i REGULAR MEETING OF THE PERSONNEL BOARD CITY OF LYNWOOD MAY 16, 1991 The regular meeting of the-Personnel Board of the City of Lynwood, , California was held on Thursday, May 16, 1991 at 5:00 pm in the Council Chambers of the Lynwood City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, Lynwood, California. The agenda was duly posted as prescribed by the Brown Act. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairman Litke at 5:04 pm. Roll call was taken by Gai1 B�ack, Interim Director of Human Resources. All members were present. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Led by Commissioner Gilpen APPROVAL OF MINUTES The motion was made by Commissioner Swift and seconded by Commissioner Gilpen to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of April 18, 1991. All in favor. Motion carried. STUDIES & REPORTS Ms. Black informed the Board of Commissioner Lewis' reappointment by City Council to the Personnel Board. REORGANIZATION Chairman Litke opened the nominations for Chairperson. Mr. Swift nominated Mr. Lewis with Ms. Gilpen nominating Ms. Bell. Mr. Swift motioned with Ms. Bell seconding to close nominations. All in favor. Motion carried. Commissioner Lewis for Chairperson; AYES: Litke, Lewis, Swift, Gilpen, Bell (Note: Commissioner Bell declined the nomination) Nominations were opened for Vice Chairperson. Mr. Swift nominated Ms. Bell. Mr. Lewis motioned with Mr. Swift seconding to close nominations. All in favor. Motion carried. Commissioner Bell for • Vice Chairperson; AYES: Litke, Lewis, Swift, Gilpen, Be11 � � ORAL COMMUNICATIONS Ms. Black, Interim Director of Human Resources introduced Janice Thomas, Administrative Aide. Ms. Thomas will be assisting Ms. Black as Secretary to the board and serving as such in Ms. Black's absence. Ms. Black questioned the Board about changing the time of their meeting if it served the Commission better. The Board agreed to continue meeting at 5:00 PM. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to conduct the motion was made by Commissioner Swift and seconded by Commissioner Litke to adjourn at 5:15 pm. All in favor. Motion carried.
