-Segment on P,ublic Works Department - General Rehabilitation
(Sidewalk repairs, etc.)
-Highlight local businesses to encourage people to shop in
Lynwood
-Marketplace entertainment activities on weekends
-Senior Citizens' activities
-Long Beach Boulevard - Historical segment
-City's 70th Anniversary activities - Unity Fair will be
combined with celebration.
-HOST/HOSTESS FOR LYNWOOD SHOWCASE: In order to give the
show more continuity, it was suggested to have a general �
host/hostess and also have reporters. The host/hostess' role I
would be to introduce segments done by reporters. Ron Roberson i
was nominated for general host.
E. ANNUAL COMMISSIONERS, BOARD MEMBERS AND BLOCK WATCH I
CAPTAINS DINNER:
Invitations to the above event were distributed. The
dinner will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 1990 at i
Bateman Hall. Social hour from 6:3o to 7:30 p.m., dinner
at 7:30 p.m.

IZI. PUBLIC ORALS �
-Ann Fields introduced a visitor who came to the meeting: i
Paulette Barr who is a member of the Police Commission in the I
city of San Francisco.
The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 14, 1991 at the
Council Chambers. There being no further business, the meeting
adjourned at 6:20 p.m. �
NOTE: After the meeting adjourned, Ron Roberson, from I
Continental Cable Systems taped a Christmas message from all
Board Members.
