5-7-5 : REG TIONS FOR
OPERATION OF . NOWMO-
BILES :
(A) It shall be unlawful to

snowmobile on any sidewalk
in the City.

erated at a speed in excess
of twenty (.20) miles per hour
in the City.
(C) No snowmobile shall -ca.rry

CONCERNING REGULATIONS FOR OPERATION OF
SNOWMOBILES BY ADDING ADDITIONAL REGULATIONS
THERETO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO:
Section 1. That Section 5-7-4 of the Village Code of
McCall, Idaho, be, and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows:
5-7-4: EQUIPMENT: No snowmobile shall be operated
in the City, unless it is equipped with the following:
(A) At least one and not more than two (2) head-
lamps sufficient to render clearly discern-
able persons and vehicles at a distance of
two hundred fifty feet (250') ahead.

McCall shall be equipped with a mast or
antenna displaying a red or red -orange
flourescent flag or pennant a minimum of
5 feet above the ground; such flag or
pennant shall be either rectangular or
triangular in shape with the leading
edge being of a minimum of 6 inches and
the length a minimum of 12 inches.
Section 2. That Section 5-7-5 of the Village Code of
McCall, Idaho, be, and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows:
5-7-5: REGULATIONS FOR OPERATION OF SNOWMOBILES:
(A) It shall be unlawful to drive, operate or
park a snowmobile on any sidewalk in the City.
(B) No snowmobile shall be operated at a speed
in excess of twenty (20) miles per hour in
the City.
(C) No snowmobile shall carry passengers or
weights in excess of the capacity recom-
mended by the manufacturer thereof.
(D) No sled, toboggan, trailer or any other
device shall be towed by a snowmobile
except by means of a rigid tow bar con-
necting the same to such device.
(E) No person on skis shall be towed behind
a snowmobile.
(F) It shall be unlawful to drive or operate
a snowmobile while under the influence of
intoxicating liquor.
(G) All snowmobiles shall come to a full stop
at all street intersections.
(H) All snowmobiles shall be operated only in
single file on the extreme right hand side
of the street.
(I) Operation of snowmobiles on the streets of
the City of McCall shall be limited to
ingress and egress to and from the city;
that city streets are not to be used as a
place of recreation for snowmobiles.
(J) No snowmobile shall be operated within
the city limits of McCall after 10:00 P.M.
except for the purpose of going directly to
or from the place of residence of the oper-
ator of such snowmobile or to its place of
storage.
(K) No person shall operate a snowmobile care-
lessly and heedlessly, or without due caution
and circumspection and at a speed or in a
manner as to endanger or be likely to endan-
ger any person or property.
