Chairperson Boykin was in the chair.
Vice Chairperson Banks, Commissioner Agaalii, Davis, C. Green
S. Green , Hardin, Trigo, Wells and Zavala answered the roll
call.
Also present were Errick R. Lee, former Chairperson of the Youth
Commission and Cynthia Green Geter - President Lynwood Democratic
Club..
Jim Given, Recreation Superintendent, certified the posting of
the Agenda by the City Clerk.
It was moved by Commissioner Trejo, seconded by Co�issioner
Davis, with all 1n agreement to approve the minutes of July 17,
1991.
INFORMATION ITEMS
Teen Center
Leo Rodriguez, Facility & Program Supervisor., gave a brief report
on the Teen Center and distributed the Teen Center monthly
reports.
Recreation and Park Program
Jim Given, Recreation Superintendent gave a brief report on the
upcoming activities for the Recreation & Parks Department.
Youth Council
Leo Rodriguez, Facility 6 Program Supervisor reported on the last
Youth Council meeting.
' Youth Summit Evaluation
Diana J. Escalante, Specialist Instructor, reported on the
success of the first annual youth summit. _

It was moved by Commissioner Davis, second by Co�issioner Zavala
to have a pool party on September 21, 1991 for both ages groups
of 11-14 and 15 — 18.
Adjournment
It was moved to adjourn to the next meeting on Wednesday,
SeptembeY 4, 1991.
