CALL.TO ORDER ' The regulaz' meeting of the Community Development Block Grant Advisory Board Commission was called to order by Chairperson Margaret Araujo at 6:19 p.m., in the Council Chambers of Lynwood City Ha11, 11330 Bul,lis Road, Lynwood, California. B. FLAG SALUTE ' Commissioner Wibecan led the pledge of Allegiance; all pre- se.nt participated. C. ROLL CALL Chairperson Araujo requested t'he roll call, and Ms. Porter compl.ied. Present: Commissioner Margaret Araujo Commissioner Patricia Carr Commissioner Claude Law Commissioner Ken Wibecan Absent: Commissioner Ana Ventura (excused) Commissioner D. Joyce Edner (excused) � Also Annette Porter, Rehabilitation Manager D. CERTIF.ICATION OF AGENDA POSTING BY CITYCLERK Ms.. Porter stated that agenda was posted per the Brown Act. After furthes discussion a motion was made. � I � + I C� CO i � � � Minutes Page #2 blotion by Commissioner Wibecan, seconded by Commissioner Law to approve. the Statement of Objectives and HUD Certification and recommend approval to the City Council. Motion cazried unanimously. H. STAFF ORALS Ms. Porter informed the Commission that there will be a special meeting held to review the Community Development Block Grant Projected Use of Funds. 'Ms. Porter polled the Board for atten- dance for a meeting.on May 8, 1991. All Commissioners present were available to attend on that date with the exception of Commissioner Carr. Ms. Poxter said that she will be contacting the Boar'd.to confirm this date. I. BOARD ORALS Commissioner Araujo mentioned a letter sent to the Commissioners by the Mayor regarding the requesting of information. No one had'.a copy of the letter available for further discussion. Commissioner Araujo commended the City's Challenge publication on how informative its become and the fact that its reaching more of the community. Commissioner Carr mentioned a special project she has been ,workinq on regarding Code Enforcement. The Chairperson asked that Commissioner Carr make a presentation regarding Code Enforcement at the next meeting. Ther'e was no furthr discussion. i � K.
