' Pacility and Program Supervisor 'Leo Hodriguez reported that the � Care Club wo�ld like to assist the city in their clean up etiorts ,� in the areas that ware damaged by the recent riots. Th�e Youth Council will be electing new officers at their meeting r�n ; May ]1, 1992. i f .�� .� � � � �� . � Youth Forum Because oT the recent civil dist�rbances this past waekend, the committee did not meet. Talent Show/Dance Recreation Staff Diana Escalante reviewed the Ta.lent Show/Dance rnYOrmation with the commission. Scholarship Pro�ram Recreatir�n Superintendent Jim <�iven r9viewed the list of the requirements for the annual scholarship. . Commissioner Joe Araujo arrived at 6:Z6 p.m. Number of Youth Commission Meetings a Month � Recreation Superintendent Jim Given advised the Youth Commission, the Recreation and Parks Department position on the issue is to recommend to the City l:ounci! to teturn to the original one meeting a month. This is due to the present agendas being compteted in a routinely timely Yashion. Second, the money spent on the meeting could be used to facilitate.other city and Youth Commission activities. AYter much discussion, it was moved�by Commissioner Ara.ujo and seconded by Commissioner Airada that the iouth Gommission � recommends to the Recreation and Parks Uepartment to return to one meeting a month. i Roll Call: Ayes: Chairperson 8anks, Vice Chairpersc�n Trigo, Gommissioners Airada, Araujo, Contreras, S.Green, Wells and Zavala � � Noes: Commissioner Agaalii a.nd C.
