Uice Chairperson Boykin, Commissioners Agaalii, Araujo, Contreras, Perez, and Trigo answered roll call. Chairperson Boykin, and Commissioner Airada, C. Green, S. Green, Hardin, Wetls, and Zavata did not answer roll call. : Leo Rodriguez certified the posting oi tt�e agenda at tF�e City Hall and at the Teen Center. Because the City Clerk vas not present, Joe Arauio couid not be sworn in, this item was suspended untfl next meeting. Commissioners C. Green and Wells arrived at 6:07 p.m. � i [t was moved by Commissioner Perez and seconded by Commissioner , Trigo to approve the minutes of March 4, 1992. Motion carried. i INFORMATIONAL 77'EMS ProRram Reports � Facility and Program Supervisor Leo Rodriguez informed the ' Commission on the ongoing departmental projects: the baseball diamonds at Mervyn M. Dymally Congressional Park are being renovated. The Transit Community Center construction is going according to schedule. The buildi�g shoutd be done by June. The Boys Basketball 8anquet will be held tonight at Fountain Valley Skate Center 8:00 p.m. � i Commissioner Hardin arrived at 6:lUp.m_ � • Leo Rodriguez discussed the activities at the Teen Genter. He is . � trying to begin an English as a Second Language class at the "leen ' Center. Youth Gouncil met on Monda.y, Ma.rch 9, 19yL. The mi����tes from March will be distributed at the next meeting. � Commissioner S. Green arrived at b':15 p.m. � � � � ' Educational Forum � � ' . Diana Escalante reQorted that the Education Forum witl be , �.. ` tomorrow March 19, 1992. All panelistss and entertainers have '- been conYirmed. All Youth Commissioners are to arrive at Batema.n. Hall at 6:00 p.�m.
