MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF
OCTOSER 14, 1992
* Ms. Jackson annonced to the comissioners that.Arnold Litke
from St. Pauls Church came in her of£ice an mentioned that
he had some space available in his church that can be use
� by a non-profit organization. Ms. Jackson will look at the
space and report back to the commission on the size of the
space.
* Ms. Jackson announced to the commissioners of the Youth
Workshop which will take place at the School District
facility on October 20, 1992.
* Ms. Culp mentioned that there is a great need for a child
care facility at the High School, due to the fact that there
are a great number of teen mothers. Ms. Culp will report to
the commissioners on the possibility of incorporating the
child care center with the schools.
* Dr. Jackson requested permission for the Women commissioners
to attend the Governor's Conference for Women on November
19, 1992 at the Anaheim Marriott. Ms. Jackson will request
permission from council and report back at the meeting of
November 10, 1992.
* Ms. Pacheco mentioned that the commissioners would like to
have lunch with Andrea Hooper and Margaret Warren in
appreciation for being staff and minute clerk for quite some
time. Staff will arrange date and time.
