REGULAR MEETING OF THE PERSONNEL BOARD
CITY OF LYNWOOD
APRIL 16� 1992
The regular meeting of the Personnel Board of the City of Lynwood,
California was held on Thursday, April 16, 1992, at 5:00 p.m. in
the Council Chambers of the Lynwood City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road,
Lynwood, California. The agenda was duly posted as prescribed by
the Brown Act.
CALL TO ORDER 'I
Chairman Lewis called the meeting to order at 5:07 p.m. Roll call �
was taken by Gail Black, Director of Human Resources. All
commissioners were in attendance.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Led by Commissioner Swift
APPROVAL OF MINUTES • i
The motion was made by Commissioner Bell and seconded by I
Commissioner Gilpen to approve the minutes of the regular
meeting of March 19, 1992.

STUDIES & REPORTS
The motion was made by Commissioner Swift and seconded by �
Commissioner Litke to approve certification of the Building
Maintenance Worker eligibility list. All in favor. Motion i
carried.
The motion was made by Commissioner Litke and seconded by I
� Commissioner Bell to certify the promotional eligibility list for �
the position of Fire Captain. All in favor. Motion carried. i
�
The motion was made by Commissioner Gilpen and seconded by ,
Commissioner Swift to certify the eligibility list for the position ,
of Office Assistant II. All in favor. Motion carried. i
The motion as made by Commissioner Bell and seconded by �
Commissioner Gilpen to. approve certification of the Office
Assistant ZZI eligibility list. All in favor. Motion carried. j
The motion was made by Commissioner Gilpen and seconded by

Commissioner Litke to certify the eligibility list for the postion
of Sr. Building Inspector. All in favor. Motion carried. '

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
Ms. Black told the Commission the City Council had reappointed Mr.
Litke to the board for another term at their April 7 Council
meeting. Also noted was the reorqanization of the Personnel Board
which would take place at the May meeting per the City Code.
Mr. Swift spoke briefly about his trip to Washington D.C. in March
as part of his job with the Compton Community College.
Mr. Litke stated he would be absent in May as he would be attending
an anniversary party in Arkansas. I
Commissioner Lewis stated his girl's basketball team were still �
winning. !

ADJOURNMENT I
There being no further business to conduct, the motion was made by I
Commissioner Swift and seconded by Commissioner Gilpen to adjourn I
at 5:17 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried.
The next regularly scheduled meeting wi1L be Thursday, May 21, 1992
at 5:00 p.m. �
