ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW HOARD MINUTES
MARCH 2. 1994 - REGULAR MEETING
The regular meeting of the Hal Harbour Village Architectural
Review Hoard was held on Wednesday, March 2, 1994. in the Council
Chamber at Bal Harbour Village Hall. The meeting was called to
order at 9:35 a.m. by Chairman Robert Wade. The roll was called
and those present were:

As a quorum was determined to be present. the meeting
commenced.
2. Approval of Minutes: A motion was offered by Mr.
Silvers and seconded by Mr, Haiti to approve the minutes of the
February 2, 1994, Regular Meeting. There being no changes or
additions, the motion carried unanimously, with Mr. Levine and Mr.
O'Leary absent. and the minutes,were approved as submitted.
Hearings;_
a) Marie Collins, 92 Bal Cross Drive:
Gary Parson, of the firm Robinson & Sons Shutter Company, addressed
the Board on behalf of the owner Marie Collins. He explained his
firm was retained to install three white storm panel tracks. He
further explained there are existing Hurricane Shutters on the
house.
A motion was offered by Mr. Balli and seconded by Mr. Silvers to
approve the applicants' request. The motion carried unanimously
(3-0), with Mr. Levine and Mr. O'Leary absent.
b) Mr. & Mrs. Chaplin,.108 Bal Bay Drive:
Barry Sugarman Architect, addressed the Board on behalf of Mr. &
Mrs. Chaplin. He explained they are requesting approval for the
alteration to the first floor and addition of a second story to an
existing single family residence. The addition of the second floor
would be composed of a master bedroom and bathroom. The addition
on the first floor is to include a foyer entrance, children's
bedroom, children's bathroom and a garage. He continued to explain
the facade is to be a soft Mediterranean style.
