Comments
Changes/correetions to the proposed Amendment no. 6 to the
Redevelopment plan for praject Area "A" will be presented at the
time of this meeting.
Recommendation
Staff respectfully request that the Commission determine whether
proposed changes/corrections are consistent with the General
Plan.

SUBJECT: Joint Public Hearing of the City Council and the Lynwood
j Redevelopment Agency on proposed Amendment no. 6 to the
Redevelopment project Area "A".

' Purpose'
� To request the presence of the Planning Commission at the joint
; public hearing on the proposed amendment to the redevelopment plan
for project area "A".
Facts:
1. Section 33346 of the Community Redevelopment law provides that
the Planning Commission determine that the proposed redevelopment
plan conforms to the General Plan.
2. On May 10, 1988 the Planning Commission adopted resolution 2198,
finding that the proposed redevelop plan for amendment no. 6 to
Redevelopment project area "A" conforms to the General Plan of
Lynwood and approving the proposed Redevelopment Plan amendment.
3. Amendments to the proposed redevelopment plan required
certification of the Planning Commission to conform with the
General Plan.
Analvsis and Conclusion
Staff respectfully requests that the Planning Commission {1) be
present at the joint public hearing of the Lynwood Redevelopment
Agency and the Lynwood City Council on July 5, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. in
the City Hall Council Chambers and be prepared to attend a special
meeting of the Planning Commission in the City Council Conference
Room immediately after the joint public hearing.
