?~~ith Bookies be amended. to provide a. maximum penalty of ~'100.OC in lieu
of `300.00 as notxi fixed, and that the City Attorney be instructed to
draft said amendment. All members of the Council present voting aye, the
P.da.yor declared. the motion duly carried.
At 2:20 P. P~.~`. Councilman Christensen arrived and took his seat
at the Council '_; ble.

After due consideration of the matter, it wa.s duly moved. by
Councilman Christensen that the City of Lynwood Purchase a. Chevrolet
Deluxe Sedan as per price submitted of X783.81, from Enoch Chevrolet
Co. which motion wa.s seconded by Councilman Lake, and upon roll call
showed the following result.
Ayes: Councilmen Zimmerman, Lake, IuicMeekin, Christensen and
Fteyer.
Noes: None.
r+rlr. ~'~'. E. Stock addressed the Council requesting perrnission
to sell ice cream and pop in front of the Seventh Day School during
the camp meeting between July 25th s.nd August 4th, a.nd 5 days previous
and 5 days after.
After due consideration of the matter, it was moved by Council-
man Lake and seconded by Councilman Christensen that F~Ir. Stock be grant-
ed a temporary permit to operate said business and that the License Coll.
be authorized to issue license therefor, subject to Health Inspections.
All members of the Council voting aye, the Mayor declared the motion
duly carried and it was so ordered.
It was moved by Councilman Christensen
