The City Council of the City ~f Lynarood met in an adjourned re=~ gular session in the Council Chamber of the City Hall, 11331 Plaza Street, on above date, at 12:30 P. ivi. T~Iayor I,hcluleekin in the chair. Councilmen Christensen, Lake, n~ieyer, !~4111ard and McMeekin answered~`~the ~rc~ll call. It was moved by Councilman Christensen and sec^nded by Coun- cilman Nleyer that the minutes of the prediouG re~~ular meeting of Sep- tember 15, 1942 be approved ~s written. All members of the Council voting aye, the Ivlayor declared the motion duly carried and it was so ordered. The hour of 12:30 P. IVI. having; arrived, said hour being,. the tune fixed for hearing any objecti-ons ar protests in connection with the proposed changes in the work to be done a-s described in Resolution of Intention -lam, by adding Colyer Avenue, from the northerly line of Imperial Highway to the Southern line of Pendleton Street. The Mayor announced that this was the time a.rd place for said hearing, inquiring of the City Clem ~Rihether or not a.ny varitten objections or protests had been filed. The Clerk stated that none had been filed. There was no one present to protest orally. A cornr~unication vaas received from The Crafts Shows requesting permission to exhibit in Lynwood at the usual show grounds located on wlinnesota and Long Beach Blvd. from October 5th to 18th, inclusive for license fee of X40.00 per day, stating that they conform to all dim-out requirements. It was moved. by Councilman !~dillard .and seconded by Coun- oilman Christensen trat permission be -ra-nt~=d to the Craft Shows to ex- hibit here on said dates at the same license fee as paid last spring, providing the same displa~,T is offered.
