ADJOURtiED REGULAR 'i~iEETING OCTOBER 26, 1942
The City Council of the City of Lynv~ood met in an adjourned
regular session, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall, 11331 Plaza
Street, on abo=re date, a.t 12:30 P. M.
Mayor McIVieekin in the chair.
Councilmen Lake, Pfteyer, ~,'~'illard and T~~TcT~Ieekin ans~~rered the roll
call.
Councilman Christensen ~~Tas absent.
It was moved by Councilman T.Qeyerand seconded by Councilman 'a!il-
lard th-.t the minutes of the previous re~-ular meetin~~ of October 20, 1942
be a:~proved as written. All members of the Council present voting; aye,
the Mayor declared the motion duly carried a.nd it was so ordered.
ORDINANCE N0. 377, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY Or LYN-
~'OOD RELAi'ING 'I'0 RES~iRICTED LIGH'T'ING," was read for the second time. It
vas moved by Councilman Nieyer and seconded by Councilman ti~'illa.rd that
aid Ordinance be adopted a.s read the second t'~~~e, fina_lly pass and be
published as required by la.~i.

Noes: None.
Absent:. Councilman Christensen.
Ntayor McMeekin addressed the Council stating that he has had
prepared a Notice regarding the staking of horses in the City of Lynwood,
prohibiting staking of horses on City owned Lotsand tax deeded property;
also settin~~ forth the strict enforeement of the provisions of Ordinance
No. 370, requesting permission to have said notice published.
Th~reupcn it was moved by Councilman Nieyer a.nd seconded by
Councilman Lake trla.tthe T~~ayor be authorized to publish such a notice in
the nevaspaper. All members of the Council present voting aye, the TJTayor
declared the motion duly carried and it was so ordered.
A communication was received from I~Tr. C. J. T~~Iiller making a~pli-
cation to purchase the 1924 For~.son which the City is no longer using,
wrhich TuTr. Bateman states will not probably be used aF:ain by the Cit~T,
requ~~stin~ action on said matter today.
A com-~unica.tion ~!Ta.s received from the Tractor Sales Corp, by
David E. Rhodes to t'r~e effect that to the best of their knowledge the
probable sale value of a 1924 Ford.son Tractor v~~~ith solid rubber tires
would be approxir:~ately X25.00.
It etas moved by Councilman ~J, 11.-rd and seconded by Councilman
Meyer. that said Tractor be sold to C. J. PJiiller Eor X25.00 a-s per the
appraisal thereof.

motion duly carried and it was so ordered.
