AMENDING & SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 99 ENTITLED
"CERTIFICATES OF HABITABILITY" OF THE CODE OF THE
BOROUGH OF CARTERET
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of
Carteret (the "Borough ") that the Code of the Borough is hereby amended and
supplements as follows:
Section 1 §99 -2. "Filing of statements. is hereby amended and
supplemented to delete the last sentence thereof to be replaced with
the following sentence:
This shall include all one- or hvo -unit rental dwelling premises, to
include owner- occupied hvo - family and non -owner occupied
single - family rental properties.
Section 2 All ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with the provision of
this ordinance are hereby repealed limited to the extent of an
such inconsistency,
Section 3 If any section, paragraph, sub - division, clause or provision of this
ordinance is adjudged invalid, such adjudication shall apply only to
the section, paragraph, sub - division, clause or provision so
adjudged and the remainder of this ordinance shall be deemed
valid and effective.
Section 4 This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and
Publication according to applicable law.
