A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COT]NCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, SELECTING
KCr TECHNOLOGTES, INC., MANUEL G. VERA &
ASSOCIATES, rNC., AND F.R. ALEMAN & ASSOCIATES,
INC. FOR MISCELLANEOUS SURVEYING SERVICES;
PROVIDING FOR AUTHORIZATION; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village of Key Biscayne ("Village") issued Request for Qualifications
No. 2020-04 ("RFq", for professional services relating to miscellaneous surveying (the
"Services"); and
WHEREAS' on January I0,2020, an Evaluation Committee appointed by the Village
Manager short listed firms and ranked KCI Technologies, Inc., Manuel G. Vera & Associates,
Inc., and F.R. Aleman & Associates, Inc. (collectively, the "Consultants") as the most qualified
firms for the Services; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council desires to enter into agreements with the Consultants
for the Services; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council finds that this Resolution is in the best interest and
welfare of the residents of the Village.
NOWO THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF'KEY BISCAYNE, F'LORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Recitals. That each of the above-stated recitals are hereby adopted,
confirmed, and incorporated herein.
Section 2. Selection. That the Village Council hereby selects the Consultants for the
Services.

Section 3. Authorization. That the Village Council hereby authorizes the Village
Manager to negotiate and execute agreements with the Consultants subject to the final approval
of the Village Attomey as to form, content, and legal sufhciency.
Section 4. Effective Date. That this Resolution shall be effective immediately upon
adoption.
