The City .Council of the City of L,ynwocd met in a special
session, pursuant to call of T~.ayor Wiggins, in the Council Chamber
of the ~ City Hall, 11331 Plaza. Street, on above date, at 7:30 P. ~I.

a special meeting cf the City Gounc l of the City of Lynwood,
California, to be held in the Council Chamber at the City 'Hall, at
11331 Plaza Street, in the City of Lynwood, California., on the 14th
day of June, 1Q44, at the hour of 7:30 0' clock P. ~yT, of said day.
"That the purr~ose of this special meeting of said City
Council is to consider and take action necessary in connection t~Tith
the changing of zoning, covering the area lying south of ~ent~_~ry
Boulevard and I;np~rial ~ig:r7way, west of licensed surveyor's man,
Book lea, page 3? of records of Los Angeles County, California; north-
erly of the park site cf the City of L,yn~~iood. and easterly of Tract
2551, being a portion of Lugo Horne Tract, and more particularly
described a.s:
"Beginning at the intersection of the westerly line of said
62.82 Acre Tract ~nrith the center line of Imperial Highway,
formerly Elmwood Avenue, 100 feet wide, as described. in the
decree of condemnation in Superior Court Case No. 254788, a
certified copy of said laet mentioned decree being; recorded in
Book 10395 page 154 of Official Re coY•d.s of said County, said
intersection being distant Southerly along said ~rTesterly line
799.26 feet, rriore or less, from the nort'r.west corner of said
Tract; thence Easterly along the center line of said Imperial
Highway on a. curve concave i~?orthv~esterly and having a radius
of 500 feet an arc distance of 133.77 feet, more or less, to
the end of said curve; thence Northeasterly along said center
line 829.48 feet, more or less, to the center line of Century
Boulev~~rd 100 feet wide, as described in the decree of condem-
nation in Superior Court Case D?o. 283379, a certified copy of
said last mentioned decree being recorded in Book 1025'"1 page
368 of Official Records of said County; thence southeasterly
along• said last mentioned center line 744.38 feet, more or less,
to a point on the tveaterly line of the land now or formerly of
B. R. Kratzer; thence Southwesterly along said last mentioned
Vesterly line 448.95 feet, more or less, to the southerly line
of said 62.82 acre Tract of land; thence ~desterly along said

Thereupon report, entitled: "TEN`T`ATIVE REI~ORT OF THE, CITY
GOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWCOD, CALIFOI<i•~IA IN RELATION TO PROPOSED
CHANGE OF ZONE," v~ras read, said report calling for a hearing in
connection with the rFzoning as specified. in Resolution No.~ 1675
to be held at 8 P. M. on the. 28th day cf June, 1944. Thereupon
it was moved by Councilman Shrock and seconded by Councilman
Tucker that said Tentative report be adopted.
