CALL TO ORDER

The Special Council Meeting of August 23, 1999, was convened by Mayor Tom Rackers.
at 9:37 PM, immediately following adjournment of the 6:30 P.M. Finance Committee
Meeting.
ROLL CALL
The following Council Members were present for the roll call:
Present: Blaney, Jackson, Landwehr, Nelson, Nilges, Stella, Vincent, Vogel
and Weber
Absent: Jaynes
A quorum was declared present.
INFORMAL CALENDAR
Bill 99 -49, sponsored by Councilman Rick Nilges, entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, PROVIDING FOR THE
LEVY OF CITY TAXES AND ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF TAXATION FORTHECITYOF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, FOR THE YEAR 1999.
Councilman Rick Nilges requested that Bill 99 -49 be removed from the Informal Calendar
and placed on final passage. Bill 99 -49 was read third time by title, placed on final passage
and passed by the following vote as Ordinance 12970:
Aye: Blaney, Jackson, Jaynes, Landwehr, Nelson, Nilges, Stella, Vincent, Vogel
and Weber
Nay: None
ADJOURN
MENT
There being no further business to come before the Council at this time, a motion was made
by Councilman Charles Jackson to adjourn, seconded by Councilman Larry Vincent, and
approved unanimously at 9:47 P.M.
