ADJOURNED REGULAR ~tiEETING MARCH 22, 1945.
The -City Council of the City of Lynv~ood met in an adjourned
regular session, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 11331 Plaza
Street, on above date, at 8:30 P. M.
Mayor Wiggins in the chair.
Councilmen Meyer, Shrock, Tucker and Wiggins answered
the call call.
Councilmen Looney was absent.
In the absence of City Clerk Anderson, Pearl C. Morris
Deputy City Clerk, served.
The hour of 8:30 P. M. having arrived, said time being
the hour for the proposed vacation of Penn Avenue as it exists
northerly of Lynwood Road between Lots nine and ten of the Commerce
Tract.
Notice of said hearing having been published and posted
as required by law.
The Mayor announced that this was the time and place
for hearing any and all objections or protests, inquiring of those
present if there was any one present who wished to abject to the
ordering of a part of Penn Avenue vacated and abandoned as de scribed
in Resolution. There was no response.
The Clerk stated that no written protests had been filed.
Thereupon RESO LUTION N0. ].795, entitled: RESOLUTION
ORDERING A PART OF PENN AVENUE VACATED AND ABANDONED," was-read.
Thereupon it was moved by Councilman Shrock and seconded by
Councilman Tucker that said Resolution No. 1795 be adopted, and
that the City Clerk be instructed to record a eertifl ed copy of
said instrument in the office of the Recorder of Los Angeles
County.

It was moved by Councilman Shrock and seconded by
Meyer that the meeting adjourn to April 3, 1945, at

declared the motion duly carried and it was so ordered.
