The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in ~ ~,pec3:a1 session, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall, 11331 Plaza Street, on ago ve da Le at 11:00 A. I~., pursuant to the call of Mayor A. J. Wiggins, said call being addressed to each Councilman and reading as followst "You are hereby notified to attend a meeting of the City Council of the City of Lynwood in the City .Hall, 11331 Plaza Street, at 11 A. A~. l~~arch 21, 1946. . ', !The purpose _oP this meeting will be to consider and take necessary action in connection with a proposed annexation proceeding. Said notice having been served. on each member of the City Council at least three hours before the holding of said meeting. Mayor Wiggins in the chair. Councilmen Shrock, Willard and Wiggins answered the roll call. Councilman Meyer was absent. A notice of intention to circulate a petition for the annexation of territory to the City of Lynwood, lying southeasterly of the present City Limits, signed by the following proponents was received: Henry W. Sir,j a sse, Daniel F. Malloy, Harry W. Ba sham, Judson P. West, E. H. Bunker, Jay Kimball, Jr., Thomas G. Cohen, James E. Kerr, and Flora 0. Olson, and an affidavit of publication of said notice having been filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood on March 2I, 194 6. Thereupon, RESOLTUION N0. 1917, entitled "A RESOLU~T'ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYIJ~Pr'OOD ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIP`T' OF NOTICE OF' INTENTION TO CIRCULATE A PETITION FOR THE ANNEXATION OF THAT TERRITORY KNOWN AS BURR ACRES, TERRA BELLA; CENTRAL GARDENS, LYNWOOD GARDENS, SOUTHEAST LYNWOOD~ AND APPROVING THE INTEN`T'ION OF THE PROPONENTS TO CIRCULATE SUCH PETITION," was read. Thereupon it was moved by Councilman Shrock, seconded by Councilman Willard that said Resolution be adopted. Roll Call: Ayes ~ Councilmen Shrock, Wiggins, and Willard. does: None. Absent: Councilman Meyer. ' It was moved by Councilman Willard a.nd seconded by Councilman Shrock that the meeting ad,~ourn to April 2, 1946 at 7:3fl P. Ni.
