HomeMy Public PortalAboutTBM 2020-02-19 FRASER BOARD OF TRUSTEES MINUTES DATE: February 19, 2020 MEETING: Board of Trustees Regular Meeting PLACE: Fraser Town Hall Board Room PRESENT Board: Mayor Philip Vandernail; Mayor Pro-Tem Eileen Waldow; Trustees; Andy Miller, Herb Meyring, Katie Soles, Parnell Quinn and Ryan Barwick Staff: Town Manager Jeff Durbin; Town Clerk, Antoinette McVeigh; Marketing and Economic Development Manager, Sarah Wieck; Assistant Town Manager, Michael Brack; Police Officer, Donnie Ransom Others: See attached list Mayor Vandernail called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. 1. Rollcall: 2. Approval of Agenda: Trustee Miller moved, and Trustee Quinn seconded the motion to approve the agenda. Motion carried: 7-0. 3. Consent Agenda: a) Minutes February 5, 2020 Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Miller seconded the motion to approve the consent agenda. Motion carried: 7-0. 4. Public Hearing And Possible Action: a) Mountain Parks Electric Franchise Agreement Town Attorney Rod McGowan presided over the continued public hearing regarding the Mountain Parks Electric Franchise Agreement. Mr. Johnson presented to the Board on behalf of Mountain Parks Electric. No public comment was offered. ai) Ordinance 475 Approving Mountain Parks Electric Franchise Agreement Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Barwick seconded the motion to approve Ordinance 475 Approving Mountain Parks Electric Franchise Agreement Motion carried: 7-0. 5. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding: a) Off Highway Vehicles The TB will regulate Off Highway Vehicles. Staff will bring an Ordinance back to the Board. Page 2 of 2 b) Resolution 2020-02-02 Cancel Fraser Municipal Election Trustee Miller moved, and Trustee Quinn seconded the motion to approve Resolution 2020-02-02 Cancel Fraser Municipal Election Motion carried: 7-0. c) Town Board Retreat Dates Staff will work with the Board to schedule a date in May 2020. 6. Open Forum: a) Business not on the agenda 7. Updates: Miller- TPR Meeting, Vail Pass Safety and Operations Improvement Letter of support Waldow- Committee Evaluation Forms 8.
