Absento Nonem The Mayor inquired if there were any other oral communi® cation. Whereupon Mr~. Brookes representing the St. Francis Hospital addressed the Councils stating iri his opinion the need for extension of water main easterly on Beachwood Avenue through the Park. He exm plained the need in case of emergency to insure adequate water supply to the hospital4 There ensued a discussion wherein the Engineer explained the water system to Mre ,Brooks and. the Councils pointing out that. the extension of main as requested would result in no 'benefit to the hospitals but suggested that the hospital take its new service from the poin~c suggested to extend the requested main from. The Engineer further explained that in the near future an additional main would be extended along Century Boulevard to Bullis Road which would result in tying the hospital in to anther sources Mr, K. F® Thompson. of 108th Street addressed the Council requesting that something be done to stop truck traffic on 18th Street between Lorraine and its easterly terminus. He explained that the building material plant located on Century Boulevard was using 108th Street for heavy truck delivery traffic After discussions it was moved by Councilman Stroh, seconded by Councilman Daetweiler that the problem be referred to the Manager and Attorney for investigation and report.
