petition from the property owners of Peach Street between Weber

that inasmuch as anew li~:;hting assessment is being prepared

The Manager presented the City AttorneyBs report on
petition regarding zonings as requested at the last meeting,

seconded by Councilman Sneddone that said report be acceptede

The Manager reported that at present both street
roues are down with mechanical failure and that the older
ones purchase secondhand in 19328 is not worth reparding® He
recommended that authorization be granted fora call for bids
for furriishin€; the city a new street roller. After discussions

authorized. to work out e. satisfactory lease with option to buy
agreement with the School Board and. County Council for the City

At this point I~1r. Ir. F. Thomson addresses the Council
further ir. rega..rd. to the aforementioned opinion rendered by the
City Attarney regarding the petition. Mr, Thompson was informed
by the Mayor that the Councils action was final and. nothing more
cou.id be done,
