BuxMns Freeway Law stipulates that the relocation of gas maims in

of 'tYi,e Division of Highways, and recommended. that an ordinance
granty.r~~ the indeterminate franchise to the Southern Califearnie.
Gas Company be adopted.

The Manager presented a report on the bide received
at the last regular Council meeting on the 1~ Ton cab and, chassis
truck, recommending that the bid of tine Compton Truck and
Equipment Company be accepted, although said bid was some X230
higher than the lowest bid Submitted, This truck met the speci-
fications closer than the other bids Submitted.
