CALL TO ORDER
A Special Council Meeting was convened on December 9, 1998, at 7:30 A.M. by Mayor
Duane Schreimann.
ROLL CALL
The following Council Members were present for roll call:
Present: Blaney, Jackson, Jaynes, Landwehr, McDowell, Nelson, Stella and
Vincent
Absent: Haake and Nilges
A quorum was declared present.
BILLS INTRODUCED
Bill 98 -145, sponsored by Councilman Larry Vincent, entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REPEALING ORDINANCE
12853, EFFECTUATING THE REMOVAL OF REFERENDUM ON TAX ISSUE RELATED
TO A CONVENTION CENTER FROM THE FEBRUARY 2, 1999, BALLOT.
Councilman Larry Vincent requested that the rules be suspended and Bill 98 -145 placed
on third reading and final passage. There were no objections to the request for suspension
of the rules. Bill 98 -145 was then read third time by title, placed on final passage and
passed by the following vote as Ordinance 12858:

Vincent
None
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council at this time, Councilman Larry
Vincent made a motion that the meeting be adjourned, motion was seconded by
Councilman Carol Blaney and approved unanimously at 7:40 A.M.
