tions of the Manager and authorize a warrant be drawn in the

and schools and other interested ~rc~ups shauld ,loin together
in sponsoring a Y'get out the vote' program for the coming
Central Basin Water District election to be held on September 21.

man, Pender, that the Clerk be d3erected to send communications to
the Chamber of Commerce and school district requesting them to
inaugurate a "get out the vote's committee for said coming election.

Council regarding his prev~.aus request for a crossing gus.rd in
the c~icinity of the Lincoln School ~n.d asked if a crossing
guard was 'to be placed in this arse,.
Whereupon, Council.m~.n Willard stated that, after serving
on the Traffic Committee, it was found a crossing ~ue.rd was not
warranted due to the pro~cimity of a traffic signal.
The Mayor stated th.t when the Traffic Committee makes
its annual survey fc~l.lowing° th~~ ~apening of school and finds
that there is a need f ~r ~. crossing g~.rard, one will be placed
there.
