The Manager presented for the Councils study the 1957-58
preliminary budget. There followed cor_siderable discussion of pro-
posed: revenues, expenditures, departmental requests, and. employee
requests. The Manager stated. that from this discussion he will pre-
pare a final budget for submission to the Council for adoption at
the regular meeting of July 2, 1957•
It was moved by Councilman Finch, seconded. by Councilwoman
