Who do the bidders bring their RFP to, and who will sign to receive it?
As stated in the RFP, Section II, Paragraph A.3:
Proposals should be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly
marked with the words "Convention Center Proposal", to:
City of Jefferson
Office of the City Administrator
320 E. McCarty
Jefferson City, MO 65101 -3198
What happens if a bid comes in after your deadline?
Proposals arriving after the deadline will not be accepted or considered during the
review of properly submitted proposals.
Will you open it and look at it if it comes in late?
See Above.
Will the bids be opened when they are received (at the deadline)?
As stated in the RFP, "Proposals will be received only; they will not be publicly
opened."
Once the bids have been received and opened, will the City accept additional
data, or just clarification of information already included?
As stated in the RFP:
Upon review of the submitted proposals, conduct of
interviews and completion of other necessary background
investigations, a recommendation will be forwarded to the City
Council for its consideration. The final selection of a developer
will require the approval of the City Council.

During the process of evaluating proposals, the City
reserves the right to request such additional information,
financial as well as non - financial, as it might deem appropriate
to enable it to objectively complete its evaluation.
Developers may be requested to make additional
presentations of their proposals to the City Council or other
groups subsequent to receipt of responses to this RFP.
The proposals and related documents will be closed until
the earlier of the making of a recommendation to the public
governmental body or the acceptance or rejection of all
proposals.
Will there be an interview of bidders?
See above.
Is a committee formed already?
No.
Is the City going to accept proposals on property other than the property
previously chosen?
The RFP is site specific.
