A RESOLUTION FOR THE FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF THE MADDEN ADDITION
PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE AND TRAIL
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services has inspected the Madden Addition Pedestrian
Bridge and Trail and states the project construction was completed in general
accordance with the approved Plans and Specifications on file with the City of Tiffin,
Iowa, and can be placed into operation; and,
WHEREAS, lien waivers for the project have been submitted to the City of Tiffin; and,
WHEREAS, the acceptance of the bridge and trail will fulfill the requirements of the
developer's agreement for the subdivision; and,
WHEREAS, with the approval of this resolution, the City of Tiffin hereby accepts
ownership and maintenance of said bridge and trail,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the
Madden Addition Pedestrian Bridge and Trail are complete and acceptable to the City of
Tiffin.
On the 16th day of May, 2023, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Schnedler introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2023-034, A RESOLUTION
FOR THE FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF THE MADDEN ADDITION PEDESTRIAN
BRIDGE AND TRAIL and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Limkemann.
Ayes: Olney, Schnedler, Limkemann, Havens.
Nays: None.
Absent: Orris.
Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2023-034, A RESOLUTION FOR THE FINAL
ACCEPTANCE OF THE MADDEN ADDITION PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE AND TRAIL to
be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 16th day of May, 2023.
