RESOLUTION APPROVING FIREWORKS FOR CARTERET'S
2' OF.DILY FESTIVAL & ETHNIC DAY FESTIVAL
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret believe that having a fireworks
display at the Second of My Festival and the Ethnic Day Festival would be an enjoyable way to
enhance the events and an appropriate symbol of community pride; and
WHEREAS, in order to obtain a permit to display the fireworks at these events it is necessary
for the Borough to adopt a resolution approving said displays.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Appropriate Borough Officials
are hereby authorized to execute the documents that may be necessary to obtain any and all
permits to facilitate "Carteret's Second of July Festival and Carteret's Ethnic Day Festival"
fireworks displays.
Adopted this 16 day of June, 2011
and certified as a true copy of the
original on June 17, 2011.
