The Clerk stated. that tre Council must either call a special election .without delay, or as an alternative, terminate the proceedings without the necessity of calling such an election. Planning Commission_Resolution No. 211 Res. 211 - which denied the request of Samuel Allison for variance to Allison permit the use of the westerly 125 of Lot 1 and. the westerly variance - 125 of the northerly 60~ of Lot 2, Block 14, Belle Vernon appeal filed.Acres for an automobile service station. (Burton and. Santa Fe Avenues). The Clerk presented a communication from Mr. Samuel Allison, the applicant, wherein he wished to appeal the decision of the Planning Commission in denying his request for a variance. The Clerk stated. that zoning ordinance No. 570 provides that where an .appeal is filed. against the action of the Planning Commission, the Council must conduct a separate hearing, and. recommended. that the hearing be set for the Council meeting of March 17.
