REGULAR METING APRIL 5, 1960 The City Council of the City of Lynwood. met in a regular session in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road., on above date a.t 7:30 p.m. Councilmen English, Pender, Rowe, and. Summers answered the roll call. Mayor Finch was absent. Mayor pro tempore Summers in the chair, It was moved. by Councilman English, seconded by Councilman Pender, that the minutes of the regular meeting of March 15, 196C, be approved as written. All members present voting aye, the Mayor declared the motion duly carried. RESOLUTION N0. 60-18 entitled "RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ALLOWING AND APPROVING THE DEMANDS PRESENTED AND ORDERING WARRANTS DRAWN THEREFOR," was presented.. The Clerk stated- that the claim was fi_~ed in his office on April 1, 1960. 7"~?.e Ciity Attorney stated that there are certain defects in ~~he claim and recommended. that the city give notice to the claimant of these defects and. that the city9s insurance carrier be notified. of the .filing of the claim. The Clerk stated that the Building Inspector had issued. the necessary Certificate of Occupancy, and that the Chief of Police, in his inves- tigation., found no reason why the application should not be granted. The Clerk, as License Collector, recommended th.e granting of said. special permit, Retarded Child r. en Ass: fund raising approved.
