Councilmen Duncan, English, Finch, Pender and Rowe answered the roll. call. T:t was moved. by Councilman English, seconded by Councilman Duncan, that the minutes of the previous regular meeting of May 3, 1960, be approved. as written. All members voting aye, the Mayor declared. the motion duly carried. RESOLUTION NO. 60-~26 entitled. "RESOLUTION OF T CITY CO~INCII~ OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ALLOWING AND APPROVING TI-~E DEMANDS PRESENTED AND ORDERING WARRANTS DRAWN THERE- FOR.'' was presented.. It was moved by Councilman English, seconded. by Councilman Rowe, that said. resolution be adopted. Roll Call: Ayes: Councilmen Duman, English, Finch, Pender and. Rowe. Noes: None. Absent: None. The Clex°k presented. a letter from Columbia Manufacturing AppE~al Company stating that they wish to withdraw their appeal. P.C.Res.235 The Clerk presented Planning Commission Resolution No. 235 Shoemaker which confirmed. and approved a variance to permit the use variance of the existing structure on Lot 6, Block 2, Tract No. 9337 approved.. (11129 Atlantic) for the manufacture of wood cabinets, un- painted furniture and wood fixtures, and. incidental wood. products, with the front 16' of said. building to be used exclusively for office and product display purposes. After discussion of the reason for granting said. variance, it was moved by Councilman English, seconded. by Mayor Finch, that said. variance be amended. to add that the applicant shall be required to abandon the present non-conforming use at 11111 Atlantic Avenue. All members voting aye, the Mayor declared the motion duly carried. The Manager presented. a communication from Anthony ~ Langford, architechs for the proposed community services building, wherein they request any extension of time of 30 days on said. project. The .Manager stated that this extension is justified. in view of the number of conf er.- ~ves a.nd. discussions necessary to revise the original. plans and come within the budget provided. by the pity, and. recommended the extension of time, as requested. Community Services Bldg. Architects granted time extension.
