REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 1, lg6o
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in a regular
session in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, on above
date at 7:30 p.m.
Mayor Finch in the chair.
Councilmen Duncan, English, Finch, Pender and Rowe
answered the roll call.
It was moved by Councilman English, seconded by Councilman
Rowe, that the minutes of the meeting of October lg, 1g60
be approved as written. All members voting aye, the Mayor
declared the motion duly carried.
Res. 60-57 RESOLUTION N0. 60-57 entitled:
Demands COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DEMANDS PRESENTED AND ORDERING
was presented. It was moved by
by Councilman Duncan, that said
Roll Call:
"RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
ALLOWING AND APPROVING THE
WARRANTS DRAWN THEREFOR."
Councilman Pender, seconded
resolution be adopted.
Ayes: Councilmen Duncan, English, Finch, Pender and Rowe.
Noes: None.
Absent: None.
Tribute to The Mayor stated that no further business would be

Bateman adjourned in memory of A. J. Bateman, who served the
city from August, lg2g to August, 1841 as City Engineer;
from August, 1846 to December, lg4g, he again served
as City Engineer (serving in the U. S. Army during
World War II); from December, lg4g to October 25, 1860
as City Engineer and City Manager.
Each of the Councilmen paid tribute to Mr. Bateman for
his service to the city.
Following a moment of silent prayer, it was
Mayor Finch, seconded by Councilman Pender,
meeting be adjourned to November 3, 1860 at
members voting aye, the Mayor declared the
