more adequate advice and information is received, and

The Clerk presented a communication from Deseret Iridustri_es
of the ~;;hurch of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints .request-
ing per°misson to solicit and collect salvageable goods
in the City of Lynwood, license free, during the year 1~6~.
Thy: C1.erk stated that said organization has conducted a
collection prograrri in the city during the past ,years with-
o.a.~ complaints, and as License Collector, recommended the
granting of said license and exemptiono It was moved by
Councilman Finch, seconded by Councilman Duncan, that the
Council concur in the recommendations of the License
Collector in granting said exemption, All members voting

support in outlawing draw poker in California. It was

The Clerk presented Planning Commission Resosuticn No. 2~8

Truck The Manager requested authorization to purchase an additional.
purchase l~l/2 Ton Truck for the Street Department. The Managers
approved, stated that this would provide an adequate and ef~°i~ient
mobile water tank truck combination.

irYlprovement of Lynwood Road between Alameda Street and contract for
Bellinger Street wherein he recommended that the contract Lynwood Road
