Al.l America ThF~ Manager presented a report on the possible events that
C~_ty award could be conducted in the event the City of Lynwood
pl.ane~s rF=ceived the All America City award. The Manager reported
that the All America City Committee has established a p.1an
for a week long celebration and has requested financial
a~~.sistance to cover initial expenses of the cel.ebrat ".on.
After considerable discussion, it was moved by Councilman
Ham, seconded by Councilman Finch, that $500 be allocated
to trie Chamber of Commerce, the city~s promotion and
x?ta.b1_i.city agent, for use by the All America City Comrn:i.ttee
to curry out the celebration should the city be accorded
s~~a.ch honors, and that all proceeds exceeding expense-s of
t;}-ie various events be returned. to the city,
