ORDINANCE N0. 57G FOR THE PURPOSE OF RECLASSIFICATION OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY ANA THE ADOPTION OF AN AMENDED SECTION
OF THE ZONING MAP WHICH IS PART OF SAID ORDINANCE N0. 570.rr
was presented for second reading, It was moved by Counc:i.l-
mara Finch, seconded by Councilman Duncan, that further
reading be waived, All members voting aye, the Mayor
declared the motion duly carr~.ed.
It was moved by Councilman Finch, :seconded 'cy Councilman
McMillan, that said ordinance be adopted as read for the
second time, finally passed, and published as required by
law.

The Clerk presented a repo:^t on the Planning Commissions
recommendation which was held over at the last regular
meeting, establisY~ing a density'forr,.iula far multiple
family development wherein he :r~eco.mmer~.ded that said
Planning Commission recornme~,dation be referred back to
the Planning Commission for furth:e~r study, It was moved
:py Councilman Finch, seconded by Councilman Duncan, that
the Council concur in the recommendations of the City
Clerk in referring said matter back to the Planning
Commission, All members vot~.ng aye, the Mayor declared
the motion duly carried,
The Clerk presented a report on the cicyts liability
insurance which was held over from the last re,g~alar meet-
ing to allow additional quotations .from other 'insurance
agents or companies. The C1.erk stated that only one
inquiry was made and no quotations were submitted,
Whereupon., it was moved by Councilrr~an Duncan, seconded
by Councilman McMillan, that the Co~u.ncil concur in "the
original recommendations of the Cltir'~ that the anniversary
date of~ the general comprehensive liability policy be
chang~cfi-from December 3 to July 1, grid the policy be
extended ~to a 5-year term, with a ~?aaranteed non-audit
premium, as submitted on behalf of the Lynvaood Insurance
Agentse Association, with a total. annual premium of

McJimsey Commissioners Jackman and McJimsey expired on July 1, 1x63,
reappointed and that the t~:rm of Recr~=anon Cc~rr~missioner Bruner expired
to Planning on J'i~ly 1, 1963.

'The Mayor stated that nominations would now be in order for
two members of the Planning Commission whose terms expired
on July 1.
W!~aereupon, Commissioner Duncan nominated Mr, Philip Burns,
Councilman Finch nominated Mr. Ta~~lor Jackman for re-
appointment to said Commission. Councilman McMillan nom-
inated Mr. Kenneth. McJimsc-y for reappo:~ntment to said
commission.
The Ma;yror inquired if there were any further riom,~nations.

seconded by Councilman Finch, tY'iat nominations ~°or two

Jackman .reappointed to the Planning Commission for terms of
four years, effect~_ve July 1, 1963.
Bruner The Mayor stated that it wou:l.d na=~r be in order to consider
reappointed the appointment of a member to the Recreation Commission and
to Recreation that nominations tivould now be in order.

Councilman Rowe nominated Percy Bruner for reappointment for
a terra of four years .
The Mayor inquired if there wear°~ any further nominations,
There being none, the T~ayor declared Percy L. Bruner re-
appoi~^~ted to the Recreation Cor~~snission for a term of four
years a effective Jui.y 1, 1963 .

Regrets - At the suggestion cf Co?a.ncilman McMillan, the Clerk was

instructed to send its congratulations to the new School
Board members,
The Mayor inquired if there were any oral communications.
Mr. James Cikel addressed the CoZZnci.l requesting the
~,_.. adoption of a resolution urging the local school board
to prohibit the use of the controversial "Dictionary of
American Slangs'
It was moved by Councilman Duncan, seconded by Councilman
Rowe, that the meeting be adjourned, All members voting
