The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in a regular session in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, on above date at 7030 p.m. It was moved by Councilman Finch, seconded by Councilman Rowe, that the minutes of the regular meeting of October 1, 1963, be approved as written. All members voting aye, the Ma~ror declared the motion duly carried. RESOLUTION N0. 63-62 entitled! n~~SOLUTION OF THE GITY Res. 63-62 COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNW00~ ALLOWING AND APPROVING THE Demands DEMANDS PRESENTED AND ORDERING wAhRANTS DRAWN TH,~REFOR." was presented. It was moved by Councilman McMillan, seconded by Councilman Duncan, that said resolution be adopted. Roll Calle Ayeso Councilmen Duncan, Finch, Ham, McMillan, Rowe. Noeso None. Absento None, ORDINANCD N0. 749 entitled; "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF Ord. 749 - LYNWOOD AMENDING SECTION"24.6 OF THE LYNWOOD CITY CODE Amending 24,'6 PERTAINING TO RIOTOUS,. ETC,, CONDUCT WITHIN ANY PUBLIC City Code PARK," was presented for second reading and adoption, (riotous con- du~t, etc.) At the request of the Mayor, the Clerk read the ordinance in its entirety, ~" Mr. Jerry Rokas, 12117 Bullis Road, addressed the Council j!, requesting that the ordinance not be adopted as the ~~ ordinance is unnecessary-and gives the Police De artment too much d;scretio~ary_power over the rights of he individual. The City Attorney explained the priizciples~,and purposes 'of the ordinance, Whereupon, it 'was moved by Councilman Duncan, seconded by Councilman Finch, that said ordinance be adopted and pub~- lished. Tucker, Compton, and Mrs. Helen L, Schenk, 4015 street - Cortland Street, regarding off-street parking restrictions complaints in the city par~Cing lots in the central business district. The Manager suggested that the communications be referred to the Parking Commission for their consideration. Whereupon, it was moved by Councilman Rowe, seconded by Councilman McMillan, that said communications be referred ' to the Parking Commission for disposition, A11 members voting aye, the Mayor declared the motion duly carriede The Clerk presented a communication from Mr. Irv E. Debbold, 10366 Long Beach Boulevard, sugges-tang improve- ments to the traffic signal system at Long Beach Boulevard and Tenaya-State ,street. It was moved by Councilman Finch, seconded by Councilman McMillan, that said communication be referred to the Traffic Engineer for investigation. All ..
