It :vas moved by Okones that we amend the budget and. transfer
?`2000.00 f ton the waterworks fund to the Consolidated Fund, and that
the Clerk be directed to lbublish legal notice of transfer, and that a
hearing on same be held on July lst at S:CO P."'. at the councilroom
for taxpayers to be heard against such proposed. transfer. Motion
seconded by Hook- On Roll Call- all members votir_a Aye.
The following Cigarette Applications, Bonds and License fee
attached. were presented;-

It was mover. by O'zones second by Reddens that Cigarette permits
be issued. to the above named ezfective July 1st 1946,

NOTICE TO AMEND THE BUDGET
The Town council oP the Town of
Wellsburg Iowa, will meet Monday
July 1st at 8:00 o'clock p. m. at the
councilroom for the purpose of
amending the Budget oP the Con-
solidated Fund by increasing pro-
posed expenditures from $6000.00
to $8000.00
Taxpayers may appear and be
heard for or against the amend-
ment.
To finance the increased expend-
iture, it is proposed to transfer
$2000.00 Prom the Waterworks fund
to the Consolidated fund.
