ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING AUGUST ~4, 1964
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in an adjourned
regular session in the City Hall, 1133G Bullis Road, on above
date at 7:30 p.m.
Mayor McMillan in the chair.
Councilmen Duncan, Ham, McMillan and Siokos answered the
roll call.
Councilman Finch was absent.
The City Clerk stated that the purpose of the meeting was to
appoint a member of the City Council to the newly formed
Rapid Transit District City Selection Committee, who in turn
will appoint four city members to the eleven-man Board of
Directors of the Southern California Rapid Transit District.
Councilman Duncan nominated Councilman Siokos.
There were no other nominations.
It was moved by Councilman Ham, seconded by Councilman
Duncan, that a unanimous ballot be cast for Councilman Siokos.
All members present voting aye, the Mayor declared the motion
duly carried.
Res. 64-68 RESOLUTION N0. 64-68 entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
Appointing COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING A
Siokos to MEMBER OF SAID COUNCIL OF SAID CITY TO THE CITY SELECTION
City COMMITTEE PURSUANT TO PART 3 OF DIVISION 10 OF THE PUBLIC
Selection UTILITIES CODE," was presented. It was moved by Councilman
Committee Duncan, seconded by Councilman Ham, that said resolution be
adopted.
Roll Call:
Ayes: Councilmen Duncan, Ham, McMillan,Siokos.
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilman Finch.
It was moved by Councilman Ham, seconded by Councilman
Duncan, that the meeting be ;adjourned. All members present
voting aye, the Mayor declared the motion duly carried.
