RESOLUTION NO. 10-21
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL,
IDAHO RELATING TO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE LOCAL HIGHWAY
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE COUNCIL RELATED TO AMERICAN
RECOVERY AND REVITALIZATION ACT OF 2009 FUNDING FOR
ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Local Highway Technical Assistance Council, hereafter called
the LHTAC, has submitted an Agreement stating the respective obligations of the
LHTAC and the CITY OF MCCALL, hereafter called the CITY, for design,
construction, construction management and inspection of Chip Seal OF LICK
CREEK RD, DAVIS AVE, BOYDSTUN STREET & DEINHARD LN AND
RECONSTRUCTION OF DEINHARD LN; and
WHEREAS, the LHTAC is responsible for obtaining compliance with laws,
standards and procedural policies in the development, construction and
maintenance of improvements made to the said project when there is federal
participation under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009-Title
XIV State Fiscal Stabilization Fund in the costs; and
WHEREAS, certain functions to be performed by the LHTAC involve the
expenditure of funds as set forth in the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the LHTAC can only pay for work associated with said project; and
WHEREAS, the CITY is fully responsible for its share of project costs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, Valley County, Idaho that:
Section 1: That the Agreement for ARRA Project Key No. G09309 CHIP SEAL
OF LICK CR RD, DAVIS AVE, BOYDSTUN ST & DEINHARD LN &
RECONSTRUCTION OF DEINHARD LN is hereby approved.
Section 2: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the
Agreement on behalf of the CITY and to sign all other necessary documents.
Section 3: That duly certified copies of the Resolution shall be furnished to the
Local Highway Technical Assistance Council.
Section 4: That this resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its passage
and approval.
