CALL TO ORDER
The Special Council Meeting was called to order on October 14, 1996, 7:30 P.M. with Mayor
Pro Tempore Carolyn McDowell presiding.
ROLL CALL
The following Council Members were present for roll call:
Present: Byrd, Haake, Jaynes, Kammerdiener, Landwehr, McDowell, Nilges and
Vincent
Absent: Jackson, Nelson
A quorum was declared present.
INTRODUCTION OF BILLS
Bill 96 -101, sponsored by Councilmen Byrd, Haake, Jackson, Jaynes, Kammerdiener,
Landwehr, McDowell, Nelson, Nilges and Vincent, entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING ORDINANCE
12514 BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW SUBSECTION PERTAINING TO THE ELECTION OF
MUNICIPAL JUDGE AND CITY PROSECUTOR.
Councilman Byrd moved to amend the bill by correcting the Primary Election date from
Tuesday, February 3, 1997, to Tuesday, February 4, 1997. Motion to amend was seconded
by Councilman Byrd, and approved unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 7:40 P.M.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council at this time, Councilman Larry
Vincent moved that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Councilman James Haake, and
approved unanimously.
