A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO, AMENDING THE PERSONNEL
POLICY MANUAL AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The Personnel Manager determined that the term "siblings" be added to the
definition of "immediate family" in the Personnel Policy Manual as it was mistakenly omitted;
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council adopted the revised Personnel Policy Manual on November
4, 2009.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of McCall,
Idaho as follows:
Section 1 The definition of "immediate family" for the purpose of sick leave and
bereavement leave on pages 27 and 29 of the Personnel Policy Manual will be amended as
follows.
Immediate family is to be defined as spouse, parents, siblings, in-laws, grandparents, children,
step -children, and grandchildren. Immediate family may also be determined to include
individuals where the employee has legal guardianship or relationships that fulfill the previously
defined roles by intent.
