SPECIAL MEETING SEPTEMBER 26, 1969
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in a special
session in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, on above
date at 5 p.m.
Mayor Stevens in the chair.
Councilmen Green, Liewer, Siokos, Stevens answered the
roll call.
Councilman Byork was absent.
Notice of The City Attorney stated that the purpose of the meeting
Default - was to give Notice of Default to Industrial Indemnity Co.,
Allcon Const. and Allcon Construction & Pacific Development Co., Inc.,
dba Allcon Construction. He explained that Allcon
Construction had been awarded the contract for construction
of a storm drain in the City at Century Boulevard and
Lorraine Street and went bankrupt before the job was
completed. Notice of Default has to be given to the
contractor in order for their surety, Industrial Indemnity
Co., to complete the work. It was moved by Councilman
Siokos, seconded by Councilman Liewer, that Notice of
Default be given to Industrial Indemnity Co., and Allcon
Construction & Pacific Development Co., Inc., dba Allcon
Construction for performance of certain work in construction
of a storm drain in the City of Lynwood at Century
Boulevard and Lorraine Street
Roll Call:
Ayes: Councilmen Green, Liewer, Siokos, Stevens.
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilman Byork.
It was moved by Councilman Siokos, seconded by Councilman
Green, and carried, that Councilman Byork's absence be '""'"'
excused.
It was moved by Councilman Siokos, seconded by Councilman
Liewer, and carried, that the meeting be adjourned.
