APPROVING ADDENDUM WITH ASFCME
COUNCIL 73 (WHITE COLLARS)
WHEREAS, ASFCME Council 73 (The "Union") is the bargaining
representative for certain employees of the Borough of Carteret (The "Borough")
rcfen'ed to as the Whttc Collar Unit., and
WHEREAS, the Borough and the Union tire parties to a collective bargaining
agreement which governs thc rate of pay for employees covered by said
agreemcnts; and
WHEREAS, Charlcs Nagy is an employee covered by the collective bargaining
agrccment between the Borough and the Union; and
WHEREAS, the Borough and the Union have agreed to an amendment to the
collcctive bargaining agreement to provide for an increase for Mr. Nagy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that the attached amendment to the collective bargaining
agreement with ASFCME Council 73 (White Collars) is hereby approved.
BE, IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the mayor and Borough Clerk are hereby
authorized to cxecute said amendment on behalf of the Borough.
Adopted this 19~h day of December, 2000 and
certified as a true copy of the original on December
20, 2000.
