Craig Britton, employing him as the District's General Manager; and WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for an annual review of the General Manager's performance and an annual compensation review, which the Board has completed; and WHEREAS, the Board desires to adjust the General Manager's compensation to include a 6.25 point (6.42%) salary adjustment, consisting of a 3.75 point salary parity adjustment and a 2.5 point cost of living adjustment, increasing his salary to $157,996.80 per calendar year retroactive to March 9, 2005; and WHEREAS, the Board, based on its annual review of Britton's performance, desires to grant him meritorious pay of 5% or $7,423.30 over and above Britton's salary in recognition of his outstanding performance during the previous year of service. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District do hereby authorize the President of the Board of Directors or other appropriate officer to execute the attached First Amendment to the District General Manager Employment Agreement on behalf of the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District to increase the General Manager's salary to $157,996.80 per calendar year based upon a 3.75 point salary parity adjustment and a 2.5 point cost of living adjustment (a total of 6.25 points or 6.42%) retroactive to March 9, 2005; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District does grant the General Manager by adoption of this resolution a 5% meritorious pay award in the amount of$7,423.30 over and above the General Manager's salary for meritorious service in Fiscal Year 2004-2005.
