HomeMy Public PortalAboutM 1970-03-24 - CCJ~ SPECIAL MEETING MARCH 2~, 1970 The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in a special session in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, on above date at 10 a.m. Mayor Stevens in the chair. Councilmen Byork, Green and Stevens answered the roll call. Councilmen Liewer and Siokos were absent. Purpose The Mayor announced that the purpose of the meeting was to adopt a resolution approving demands and ordering warrants drawn for payment of postage for mailing sample ballots for the April l~, 1970, General Municipal Election, for payroll of March 19, 1970, city contribution to health insurance for March, 1970, and City Treasurer petty cash. RES. 70-25 RESOLUTION N0. 70-25 entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE Demands CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ALLOWING AND APPROVING THE DEMANDS PRESENTED AND ORDERING WARRANTS DRAWN THEREFOR," was presented. It was moved by Councilman Byork, seconded by Councilman Green, that said Resolution be adopted. Roll Call' Ayes; Councilmen Byork, Green and Stevens. Noes: None. Absent: Councilmen Liewer and Siokos. It was moved by Councilman Green, seconded by Council- man Byork, and carried, that the meeting be adjourned.
