SPECIAL MEETING OCTOBER 8, 1971
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in a special
meeting in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, on above
date at 5:00 p.m.
Mayor Liewer in the chair.
Councilmen Byork, Green, Liewer, Morris, Stevens
answered the roll call.
The Mayor announced that the purpose of the special meeting
was the consideration of the authorization and direction
of the City Manager to file a Grant Application under Section
6(a) of the Emergency Employment Act of 1971 (Public Law
92-54).
Res. 71-67 The City Manager presented RESOLUTION N0. 71-67 entitled:
Authorizing "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
Manager to CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF AN APPLICATION
file for FOR FUNDING UNDER THE EMERGENCY EMPLOYMENT ACT OF 1971."

EEA funds Councilman Byork asked the City Attorney if it was
necessary to waive further reading of a resolution, and
was inf ormed it was not necessary.
It was moved by Councilman Byork, seconded by Councilman
Stevens, that the resolution be adopted.
Roll Call:
Ayes: Councilmen Byork, Green, Liewer, Morris, Stevens.
Noes: None.
Absent: None.
It was moved by Councilman Green, seconded by Councilman
Stevens, that the meeting be adjourned. All members
voting aye, the Mayor declared the motion carried.
