Staff met with the Teamsters and discussed the classification and salaryrange for the Maintenance Worker II position. The creation of this job classification fulfills thecommitment made by the City to the Teamsters during the 2019 labor negotiations. The MaintenanceWorker II position allows for growth within the Maintenance Worker classification, will help retainqualified employees, and will bring the salary closer to the market median as per the Classification andCompensation Study.
