ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING MAY 23, 1972
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in an
adjourned regular session in the City Hall, 11330
Bullis Road, on above date at 7:30 p.m.
Councilmen Byork, Liewer, Stevens, Rowe answered
the roll call. Councilman Morris was absent.
In the absence of the Mayor, Mayor pro tempore
John Stevens called the meeting to order.
Mr. W. H. Greenawalt addressed the Council concerning
the effect of the passage of Proposition g which will
appear on the June, 1972, and urged that the Council
go on record as opposing the bill.
Res. 72-63 RESOLUTION N0. 72-63 entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE
Opposing CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD OPPOSING
Prop. No. g PROPOSITION N0. g," was presented. It was moved by
Councilman Byork, seconded by Councilman Rowe, and
carried, that Resolution No. 72-63 be adopted.
Councilman Morris arrived.
Claim for A claim for personal injuries filed on behalf of
damages deniedPeggie Brown was presented. It was moved by Council-
Peggie Brown man Liewer, seconded by Councilman Byork, that the
claim be denied and referred to the City's insurance
carrier.
Executive It was moved by Councilman Liewer, seconded by
session Councilman Rowe, and carried, that the Council adjourn
to executive session for discussion of personnel
matters.
The City Clerk was excused from the remainder of the
meeting and Councilman Liewer was appointed City
Clerk pro tempore.
Following the executive session, it was moved by
Councilman Liewer, seconded by Councilman Byork,
and carried, that the meeting be adjourned to May
30, 1972, at 7:30 p.m.
